About Us

Rebecca Shafer
Attorney/Risk Consultant

Rebecca Shafer, an attorney and risk consultant, one of the early developers of the Injury Management Program, is an expert in workers' compensation cost containment and litigation management systems. National, mid-market, and local companies use her consulting services to develop benchmarking comparisons, assess key cost drivers, structure strategies, and design training to reduce workers' compensation and risk management costs.

ReduceYourWorkersComp.com is proud to be associated with a number of talented injury management consultants. Many of our consultants and doctors have worked with us for fifteen plus years, supporting Rebecca's project managing and monitoring efforts.

Our consultants, all experts in their chosen fields, cover key workers' comp areas including occupational and/or emergency medicine, injury management with implementation of cost reduction strategies, claims management in premium reduction and review, claims file review, development of workers' comp curriculum, training manuals, and training program accreditation.

Industry experts regularly contribute to our award-winning Work Comp Roundup Blog (formerly Workers' Comp Kit Blog).

In addition, we are connected to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, all generated and maintained by our superior administrative support staff.

Tribute
A discussion of Injury Management would not be complete without mentioning our friends and colleagues who died in the terror attacks on the World Trade Center September 11, 2001. In particular, we are proud of the many accomplishments of Harry Taback and Bob Ferris who played a significant role in the development and success of the Injury Management Program. As dedicated safety professionals, we are sure Harry and Bob gave their lives helping others escape the building.
